The Athas Capital lawsuit was a class action lawsuit filed against Athas Capital Group, Inc., a mortgage lender in Calabasas, California. The lawsuit alleged that Athas Capital violated California labor law by failing to pay its employees overtime wages and failing to provide them with meal and rest breaks.

The case was settled in July 2020 for $2.5 million. As part of the settlement, Athas Capital agreed to pay its employees back wages and damages, and to implement new policies to ensure compliance with California labor law.

The settlement was approved by the Los Angeles Superior Court in August 2020.
